Cappadocia - Fairy Chimneys

Start the day by visiting Imagination Valley where you will see thousands of fairy chimneys in various states of erosion. See if you can spot a camel or an elephant in the rocks formations. Drive to Zelve open air museum, set in 3 different valleys, two of which are connected by tunnel. Then head towards Monks Valley where they lived in seclusion in rock cut rooms from the 5th to the 14th century. Drive to the pottery town of Avanos, where Turkey's longest river, Kizilirmak River, passes through. Take in a pottery making demonstration and even try your hand at making your own unique pot. Next head to Pigeon Valley, Uchisar, for an open buffet style lunch. After lunch visit Uchisar Citadel, the tallest point in Cappadocia, marvel at the view of the surrounding area. We stop at Esentepe for a photo chance before heading to the Goreme open air museum. This museum has the best preserved churches and frescoes in Cappadocia.

Cappadocia
Derinkuyu - Underground City

First stop is the deepest known underground city, Derinkuyu (Deep Well). Derinkuyu isone of the best examples of underground dwellings. Then drive to Ilhara Valley, located by Mt. Hasan which wasone of the active volcanoes that coverd Cappadocia in lava. The walk through Ilhara Valley is 3 kms long giving you time to see some of the many unique churches carved onto the volcanic rock. After lunch by the stream we drive to Guzel Yurt for a phot stop before heading to the well preserved Agizkarkahan Caranvanserai.

Cappadocia - Trekking

This tour focuses on the natural beauty of Cappadocia. Begin with an easy 2 hour hike through Red Valley and Rose Valleys, enjoying the changing scenery as you go. Explore the old churches and wonderful rock formations and colours of the valley before arriving at Carusin Village. Enjoy an open style buffet lunch then head towards Kaymakli underground city where the Christian communities led a communal life hiding themselves from invasions. Drive to Ortahisar to climb the natural fortress/castle, 90 metres high, hidden by nature without the slightest indication of human presence inside.
